Dyckerhoff Basal Betontechniek, our concrete technology division, is a laboratory and a knowledge centre in one. From its base in Nieuwegein, the department plays a central role in the exchange of technological knowledge and experience in the field of concrete.

Dyckerhoff Basal Betontechniek is at the centre of the development of special formulae such as self-compacting concrete, highly ready mixed concrete, high strength concrete, colloidal concrete, bored pile mortars, and so forth. In the laboratory in Deventer, suitability research is carried out into the most optimal composition in combination with the raw materials used. There, the emphasis can be on diverse elements. Dyckerhoff Basal Betontechniek is also able to conduct other research such as: the approval of aggregates for application in concrete, cement, filling properties, auxiliary substances, liquid infiltration, adiabatic heat development, C-value determination, and colour characteristics for coloured concrete. Dyckerhoff Basal Betontechniek supports, guides and advises ready mixed concrete companies and their customers, particularly concerning special products.
