Dyckerhoff Basal's sustainability process presents the social, environmental and economic performance associated with the group's activities in the various regions where it is active. It follows the approach which had been implemented in recent years.
The sustainability process is based on a principle of continuity and progressive refinement. The sustainability process is in fact an extension of the area about which reports are prepared on certain environmental aspects of concrete production and reinforcement of the reporting system via the preparation of a specific Sustainability Report Package to collect information in the different regions.
The sustainability process is the result of a structured process implemented by a working group that has been set up and formed at the holding company level, and which includes all functions to create a cross-section of all the areas involved in the group's social, environmental and economic reporting with no support from external advisers. Reports are submitted to our shareholders in Germany and Italy, according to an agreed format.
The companys sustainability policy was drafted based on the 'Sustainability Reporting Directives Version 3 (G3)' of the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) and meets the substantive requirements of Application Level B+. It also refers to the Social Report Study Group (GBS) directives regarding the calculation and distribution of added value.
