North Region

Dyckerhoff Basal Betonmortel – North Region, based in Franeker (formerly Magré Betonindustrie) has from the outset been located in an area of approximately eight hectares between the Van Harinxma Canal and the A31 at Franeker.

Dyckerhoff Basal Betonmortel b.v. – North Region at Franeker is primarily occupied with the manufacture of liquid concrete for which it built, in 1999, a new centre in Franeker with a capacity of 120 m3 per hour. Approximately 15 concrete mixing trucks and 30 employees handle the delivery of around one hundred thousand cubic meters of concrete annually to customers in the north of the country. This centre also handles the storage and transfer of sand and gravel as well as rip-rap and fixed materials such as cattle feeders and pallet goods. During the winter Franeker will, if necessary, supply a range of four wheel vehicles equipped to combat ice and snow.
