Central Region

Within this region, a total of five liquid concrete centres operate daily to fulfil every request within the distribution area. That means that Dyckerhoff Basal can prepare for delivery weeks in advance of the start of a project. However, there are also situations in which this time is not sufficient, for example, due to a change in construction plans. Here, speed is of the essence, because the quality of the concrete will otherwise be endangered. That’s easy for Dyckerhoff Basal. One phone call sets the whole advanced ‘concrete machine’ in motion and a few hours later, the customer receives their order. Dyckerhoff Basal has developed the Conactive Management Planning System specially for these situations. Every concrete mixer truck is equipped with a status reporting system able to interact minute-by-minute with the route planning. This means that if a disaster occurs somewhere within a region, planning is simply adjusted by the computer centre. There are no difficult negotiations, no disruption to construction; Dyckerhoff Basal is always ready. Which is just as it should be.
